Cisterns
(Water Supply)
In Pharaoh water comes from wells and water supplies (cisterns). Both
of these structures can only be placed on land that sits above ground
water. (These squares can be identified by using the Water Overlay).
Water Supplies (Cisterns) are much preferred over wells and are necessary
for any real evolvement of your housing. In Pharaoh, the cistern sends
out walkers to deliver water to housing. These are random walkers, and
they will go about 25 squares before returning. They will return by
the shortest route.
