Government Palaces
A Government Palace is the seat of power, and should be built as soon
as possible. You must have a government palace before you can collect
taxes.
Place mouse over a palace and a pop-up screen will show
the current unemployment rate, the city ratings, and the current tax
rate. Right click on the palace and you will get a screen which you
can use to adjust the tax rate.
Should the Pharaoh visit your city he will stay in the
Palace.
To build a palace you need road connections and at least
one square of the building must be placed over green, fertile ground.
